Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the RepOne iOS application ("App") or this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Alex Kuchar ("I", "me"), the individual developer of RepOne.

RepOne is a fitness tracking application for iOS that allows you to:

• Create and follow structured weekly training plans
• Log workouts, sets, reps, and weights
• Track personal records and training volume over time
• Use an AI coach ("Coach") to generate personalised routines (Pro)
• Monitor training streaks and recovery via HealthKit step data
• View Live Activity widgets on your iPhone Lock Screen during workouts

I reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

RepOne offers a free tier and a paid subscription tier called RepOne Pro.

Free tier includes: unlimited workout logging, exercise library access, streak tracking, and weekly planning.

RepOne Pro additionally includes: AI Coach (Coach) conversation and routine generation, advanced progress analytics, and a monthly allowance of AI actions (messages, web searches, and routine saves).

Users without an active Pro subscription may also access AI features by purchasing AI Credits as described in Section 5.

RepOne Pro is available as a recurring subscription purchased through Apple In-App Purchase at the following indicative prices:

• Monthly: USD 4.99 per month
• Annual: USD 39.99 per year (approx. USD 3.33/month)

Actual prices may vary by region and are subject to change. The price displayed in the App at the time of purchase is binding.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged at confirmation of purchase and upon each renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings or at Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

I do not offer refunds beyond Apple's standard refund policy. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple.

AI Credits are optional consumable in-app purchases that grant access to AI features on a pay-per-use basis, without requiring a Pro subscription.

• Cost per action: Coach messages and routine saves cost 1 credit each. Web searches cost 2 credits each.
• No expiry: Credits do not expire.
• Linked to your Apple ID: Your credit balance is managed as a RevenueCat virtual currency and held server-side by RevenueCat. It is associated with your Apple ID and will be restored if you reinstall the App with the same Apple ID.
• Non-refundable: AI Credit purchases are consumable in-app purchases. They are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple.
• Pro subscribers: If you hold an active Pro subscription, your monthly AI allowance is used first. Credits are only deducted once your monthly allowance is exhausted.

The AI Coach ("Coach") is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. By using Coach, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your messages are transmitted to Anthropic's servers to generate responses. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• If you choose to attach context (Recent Workouts, Active Plan, or Body Stats) to a message using the + button, a summary of that on-device data will be included in the request sent to Anthropic. This is optional and you remain in control of what is shared.
• Coach may autonomously perform web searches via Anthropic's servers when it determines a search would be helpful (e.g. exercise form or technique queries). You cannot directly trigger or suppress individual searches. Links returned are sourced from the open web and I do not endorse or control the content at those destinations.
• Coach's responses are generated by an AI model and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your individual circumstances. Always use your own judgement and, where appropriate, consult a qualified fitness professional.
• Coach is intended for general fitness guidance only. It is not a substitute for medical advice. Do not use it to address injuries, medical conditions, or rehabilitation without consulting a healthcare professional.
• You may not use Coach for any purpose other than fitness planning, or in a way that violates Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Circumvent any technical measures that restrict access to Pro features
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to interfere with the App's infrastructure or backend services

All content, code, design, trademarks, and other intellectual property in the App and on this website are owned by Alex Kuchar or used under licence. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the App.

Your workout data remains yours. I claim no ownership over the training data you create within the App.

Exercise carries inherent risks. RepOne is a tool to organise and track your training — it is not a certified personal trainer, physiotherapist, or medical service. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any exercise programme you follow is appropriate for your health, fitness level, and physical condition.

Consult a doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you have pre-existing conditions, injuries, or have been inactive for an extended period.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, personal injury, or property damage, arising from your use of the App or reliance on any content provided by Coach.

My total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for RepOne Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

I may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
